AJS 3.x Manual

Note! This Manual is for the "Forms authentication" version. This version requires you to create each account and store credentials in the HTTP Commander XML database. If you have Windows server or Active Directory accounts already and want to use them in the HTTP Commander, you need to download the "Windows authentication" version! This Manual is for the Forms authentication version only!

Known bugs and limitations

• MS office for Basic authentication asks for authentication each time then you open file to edit. Unfortunately MS office don't reads authentication from browser and also don't caches it. We can't fix this problem. Also in some situations it may asks for credentials even then user saves file.
For Windows Integrated and Forms authentication it cashes authentication.

• Java uploader and download asks for authentication data when you start upload/download. That is a limitation of Java applet, it does not inherit credentials from web browser, you have to authenticate to Java one more time.
